| How kind of you to take an interest in my music. I hope that, whoever you are, life is treating you well. My best music news of 2012 has been watching the SASS Program grow, with many young writers coming back to tell us, after nine years, how much the free songwriting training and support of fellow-artists and teachers have meant to them. It's also been good to deepen my friendships with many of the fine musicians in Canada. In personal news, our own children are growing into strong and talented young people who love learning and work hard at everything they do.
